Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Astro River Institute's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and competent to enter into a binding contract to use our services. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Nature of Services
Astro River Institute provides Vedic astrology consultation services through AI-powered astrologers and, where approved, human expert consultations. No guarantees are made regarding the accuracy of any astrology prediction, consultation, or remedy. All services, products, and remedies are for entertainment and guidance only. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Any reliance on our content is at your sole risk.
Account Registration
You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Guest sessions are permitted for browsing; a full account is created upon first payment.
Wallet and Payments
All payments are processed through Razorpay for Indian users. Funds are added to your Astro River wallet as prepaid balance. Once funds are added to your wallet, they are non-refundable to your original payment method under any circumstances. Wallet balance is deducted in real time based on session usage. All monetary calculations use precise decimal arithmetic. Currency is permanently locked after your first successful payment. The administration reserves the right to add or deduct wallet credits at their sole discretion for any reason, including but not limited to external payments, service adjustments, or operational corrections.
Session Policies
After 8 minutes of inactivity during a session, a gentle reminder will be sent. After 10 minutes of total inactivity from both sides, the session will be closed automatically. The full 10 minutes are charged — no exceptions. Even if the user returns after the reminder, the minutes during which the user was inactive are charged in full and are not reversed. When your session balance drops below 5 minutes, you will receive a notification with the option to extend.
Consultation Finality
All consultations are final. Once session time is consumed and deducted from your wallet, no reversal, refund, or credit is issued. This applies to all session types — AI consultations, human expert consultations, and any other services on the platform.
AI Consultations
AI astrologers are powered by proprietary algorithms developed over decades of research. AI-generated remedies are not manually reviewed by human experts. If you believe a remedy is incorrect, you may flag it for review using the "Report Issue" feature.
Human Expert Access
Access to human expert consultations (AR Expert) requires prior administrative approval, a retainer arrangement, and appointment booking. This access is not publicly listed or searchable.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform and all services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Astro River Institute, its founders, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Astro River Institute in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Astro River Institute, its founders, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the services, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to manipulate billing or wallet systems, create multiple fraudulent accounts, or harass any consultant or staff member.
Intellectual Property
All content, research, methodologies, and AI models on the platform are the exclusive property of Astro River Institute. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. This includes but is not limited to violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behaviour. Any remaining wallet balance at the time of termination is forfeited.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws applicable in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jalandhar, Punjab, India.
