Astro River Institute is opening two public reading rooms: the Founder Archives and the River Journal.
They serve different purposes. The Archives hold the founder's papers — the methods Dr. Armaan Sharma has developed, practised and taught through Astro River since 2008, written in his own words and now being restored and expanded from his original documents and notes, with modern tools used for structure and editing. The Journal moves faster: weekly sky notes, focused transit readings, plain statements of where the Institute stands, and news from the desk.
Same tradition. Different pace.
The Archives keep depth: method, reasoning, and the ideas that need room to unfold. The Journal stays close to the present: what is moving in the sky, what it may ask of you, and where the Institute stands when the field needs a straight answer.
Both are also where the Institute's teaching begins. Astro River was founded to teach as much as to consult, and it teaches the way it reads: with care, and not at volume. Small batches are opened when the work allows, for students who have read the papers and are ready to be held to their standard. The reading rooms are open to all; the classroom is entered by invitation.
Both will grow. Journal pieces arrive on a regular rhythm; Archive papers are added as each one is completed.
Read what speaks to the question in front of you. Use the Journal for orientation. Go to the Archives when you want to stay with an argument longer. When a chart question needs a private conversation rather than a public article, the consultation desk is where that work happens.
This material is for guidance and education. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and no article replaces a full chart reading.
Explore the Journal this week, then step into the Archives for the longer papers. Both will keep growing.
